You are an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in both strategy and execution across content creation, including social media, email marketing, blogging, public relations such as media relations and community engagement and advertising including campaign management, media planning and buying. You excel in client-facing roles, bringing exceptional organizational and leadership skills to every project. Responsibilities

Primary (70%)

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies that align with client goals and Brandmint’s vision.

  • Lead the marketing team, ensuring seamless collaboration with the Client Success and Advertising teams.

  • Drive innovation in content creation and public relations to enhance client visibility and engagement.

  • Monitor industry trends and emerging platforms to keep Brandmint and its clients ahead of the curve.

  • Monitor trends, current events, and industry developments to shape messaging strategies and identify media opportunities such as anniversaries, rebrands, new hires, product launches, and events.

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Oversee the development and implementation of content initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, blogging, and multimedia production.

  • Ensure content strategies are data-driven, impactful, and aligned with client goals.

  • Manage public relations efforts, including media relations, community engagement, and strategic partnerships.

  • Direct and refine content performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.

Campaign Development and Management

  • Lead the creation, execution, and management of advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including digital, print, TV, and radio.

  • Ensure advertising materials meet high-quality standards, align with brand guidelines, and effectively communicate core messages.

  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure smooth execution and optimal results.

Media Planning and Buying

  • Develop strategic media plans to maximize reach, engagement, and impact within client budgets.

  • Oversee negotiations and purchases of advertising space and airtime across diverse media channels.

  • Monitor and optimize media buys to enhance cost-effectiveness and overall campaign performance.

Budget Management

  • Oversee and manage advertising budgets to ensure alignment with approved limits while driving strong return on investment (ROI).

  • Strategically allocate resources across campaigns and channels to maximize performance and achieve client objectives.

Client & Team Engagement

  • Serve as a secondary point of contact alongside client success as a trusted advisor to clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Attend key client account meetings to share insights, updates, and ideas.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive strategy sharing.

  • Lead quarterly client meetings to present strategies, campaign updates, and performance reports.

  • Mentor and empower team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.

  • Set and enforce high standards for project timelines, deliverables, and overall quality.

  • Leverage the strategic plan in place for each client you serve

Secondary (30%)

Support marketing specialist as needed to execute on key client accounts for the following efforts:

  1. Social Media Management

    1. Create and maintain editorial calendars to schedule content.

    2. Write copy for all social media posts.

    3. Coordinate content production with other team members and departments to meet deadlines.

    4. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.

  2. Email Newsletters

    1. Design, write, and schedule compelling email newsletters to engage and inform our clients’ audience 

    2. Analyze email performance metrics and optimize future campaigns based on insights.

  3. Article & Blog

    1. Create blog outlines to identify important information prior to writing articles/blogs (such as URL, title, meta description, excerpt, and keywords).

    2. Write clients’ articles/blogs.

  4. Community Engagement:

    1. Develop and share content calendars and digital engagement strategies.

    2. Identify, present, and coordinate potential sponsorships and charitable initiatives

    3. Identify awards, and provide support throughout the process

    4. Build and nurture strategic partnerships

  5. Media Relations:

    1. Develop, manage, and update media lists segmented by client

    2. Manage responses to media inquiries and prepare spokespeople for interviews.

    3. Craft, distribute, and follow up on press releases, media pitches.

    4. Develop and nurture relationships with media, reporters, and industry contacts

    5. Monitor media coverage and public sentiment using media monitoring tools.

    6. Analyze the success of PR campaigns and provide regular performance reports.

  6. Misc.

    1. Draft speeches, statements, internal/external communications and articles for clients.

    2. Create content for newsletters, blogs, websites, and social media platforms.

    3. Oversee the production of promotional materials, videos, and other content.

    4. Prepare quarterly and annual reports, ensuring accuracy, and actionable insights.

    5. Ensure that all content meets high-quality standards, including grammar, spelling, and adherence to brand guidelines.

    6. Stay current with industry best practices, content marketing tools, and emerging trends to improve skills and strategies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on content strategy and public relations.

  • Proven leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams and client relationships.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools, including content management systems, social media platforms, and PR software like MuckRack.

  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for creativity and innovation

  • Experience with sponsorships, charitable initiatives, and community engagement strategies.

  • Familiarity with advertising integration, including campaign management and contracts.

  • Experience aligning advertising and PR efforts for cohesive strategies.

Pay Range

$55,000 - $75,000
