Tapping into Trends: Supercuts Social Strategy

The Challenge

Supercuts is a walk-in hair salon with locations across the US. They struggled to connect effectively with Millennials and Gen Z customers, both of whom communicated differently than previous generations. Supercuts needed to update their digital presence to tap into the younger customer base.

The Solution

Working within Supercuts’ brand guidelines, Brandmint developed a social media strategy that focused on trendy and lighthearted content. We created approachable reels that resonated with younger demographics and kept up with dynamic trends. As a result, our team drastically increased Supercuts’ reach across Instagram and Facebook.

Our Process

Because Supercuts was an established brand, we needed to work within their existing guidelines while incorporating new methods to reach the right audiences. We created a social media strategy that combined traditional static posts with informal reels. As a result, we could continue to promote Supercuts stores and services while adding touches of fun to humanize the hair styling experience.

Interpreting Supercuts’ brand narrative for Millennials and Gen Z customers required constant social monitoring. We stayed up-to-date on viral challenges, popular sounds, and reel aesthetics. And we crafted relatable reels to increase their brand perception.
