You are organized, reliable, and able to manage projects independently while collaborating seamlessly with a team. Experience creating short-form content (Reels/TikToks) is a bonus.

Client

This role currently focuses on capturing photo and video content on a monthly basis for an architecture firm, showcasing their mission, values, and dedication to their clients, though the clients may evolve to include other clients and projects in the future.

Responsibilities

Photo/Video

  • Capture high-quality photography and videography for clients.

  • Edit and deliver final photo and video assets according to project requirements and brand guidelines.

  • Collaborate with our content team to ensure visual consistency and storytelling alignment.

  • Handle on-location shoots and in-studio setups from concepting through to post-production.

Short-Form Content Production (Secondary, not required)

  • Develop engaging short-form content optimized for social platforms (e.g., Reels, TikToks, Shorts).

  • Adapt longer-form assets into dynamic, platform-specific formats that drive engagement.

  • Stay ahead of digital and social media trends, incorporating creative editing styles, transitions, and effects.

Workflow & Project Management

  • Manage content production timelines and tasks using Monday.com.

  • Organize and manage media files for efficient delivery and archiving.

Requirements

  • Be available to shoot one day per month for 8 hours (up to 4 locations).

  • Proven experience in photography and videography (portfolio required).

  • Proficiency with professional camera equipment, lighting, and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.).

  • Ability to work on-site in Ithaca, NY and occasionally travel to surrounding areas if needed.

  • Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

  • (Preferred) Experience creating short-form content.
